Sauna Tribute

The Finnish Sauna is a tradition that dates back many centuries. As a Finnish American (2nd generation), I can speak of the beneficial properties of cleansing in the sauna. Dry steam is produced when cold water is splashed on the hot rocks. The body is super heated by the large volume of dry steam that fills the sauna room. The perspiration produced is not from the steam, but the body releasing toxins and trying to cool it self. This all relates to the new digital photo age. No wet chemicals, just dry computers, software and a love of the process.
