The Art of Photography

The Photo Art Galleries are a collection of my digital photos. Digital darkrooms of today are free of wet chemicals and their associated ill effects. No wet baths were needed for the art found here. 

Welcome to a portfolio of digital photos taken since 1997. Most of the photos have been enhanced in a variety of ways. A variety of photo enhancing programs are used, including Photoshop CS2, Corel Paint Shop Pro X2, Adobe Lightroom, DxO, and others.

The process to create each of the images is a work in progress. Some 90,000 plus photos have been taken over the last 13 years. I tend to gravitate to urban scenes, but nature keeps getting into the mix.  The end image is the result of a constantly refined process. No two finished photos are processed in the same manner and I do not keep cookbook documentation  to recreate an effect. As new photos are added I will create any image that pleases me at that time.

• Panasonic TZ-8 digital camera

• Assorted lenses (Canon, Sigma, Tamron, Tokina)

• Sigma 35 mm film camera

• Pentex 35 mm film camera

All of the Photos on this site are the property of G. W. Kujansuu. This collection is mostly digital with a few scanned negatives. The primary location of shots is the Metro Detroit area.
