The Art of Photography

Welcome to a portfolio of digital photos taken since 1997. Most of the photos have been enhanced in a variety of ways. A variety of photo enhancing programs are used, including Photoshop CS2, Corel Paint Shop Pro X2, Adobe Lightroom, DxO, and others.

Sauna Tribute

As a Finnish American (2nd generation), I can speak of the beneficial properties of cleansing in the sauna. Dry steam is produced when cold water is splashed on the hot rocks. The body is super heated by the large volume of dry steam that fills the sauna room. The perspiration produced is not from the steam, but the body releasing toxins and trying to cool it self. This all relates to the new digital photo age. No wet chemicals, just dry computers and software.
